Singapore, officially known as the Republic of Singapore has one main island and many small islands. It is located in Southeast Asia with Malaysia and Indonesia as its neighbours.. It is a very small but very modern and developed country. Area wise it is the 20 smallest country in the world. The country’s geographical location makes it an attractive place for traders. It has great infrastructure, urban planning, and good quality of living. Its roads, ports, and airports keep it in a top position. It has flight access to multiple countries. At least half the world’s population is within 7-hour flight distance from this country. Its connectivity to different parts made it a business hub. Many international companies have offices here.

- The quality of living in Singapore is great, so naturally, it is going to be expensive. According to numbeo, the city is 200 percent more expensive than Bangalore. However, in comparison with New york city, Singapore is less expensive. Singapore ranks among the top 20 student destinations in the world. The currency of Singapore is the Singapore dollar which is approximately equal to 60 Indian rupees. Rent in the central region may be more expensive than in the north and east regions.
- Orchard: In the 1800s it used to have fruit orchards, pepper plantations, etc. Then came a store. And today it is famous for shopping and retail. It has great infrastructure. - Sentosa is a sunny island in Singapore, which has beautiful resorts and offers many exciting events, lush rainforests, golden sandy beaches, and resort-style hotels.
- Clementi has a cost of living which is lower than Orchard and Sentosa. Community life is great here. Sports activities are abundant. People stay here and travel to Jurang or Dover for education.
- Kent Ridge is a neighborhood located in the Queenstown Planning Area of Singapore. It has two parks within the Southern Ridges, Kent Ridge Park and HortPark. NUS has a campus here.
- Tanjong Pagar is a historic district located within the Central Business District of Singapore, You can experience Malay heritage here. It has many cultural and architectural landmarks.
- Novena is a planning area located within the Central Region of Singapore. Curtin University Australia has a campus here.

- Teaching in Singapore is in English. For Business communication also English is predominantly used. So, English proficiency is mandatory for students interested in studying here. Its top universities, the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Techno logical University (NTU) are ranked among the top 20 universities in the world. Singapore Management University is also another top college.

- Inaugurated 3 decades ago, it started as a teaching institution and now it has evolved into a research-intensive education center. It has around 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering, business, science, humanities, arts, social sciences, education, and medicine.
- It is home to world-class institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environ mental Life Sciences Engineering. Non Subsidised tuition fees cost 35000-39000 Singapore dollars annually. On-campus housing and financial aid are available for students. GRE/ TOEFL/ IELTS are some of the scores accepted.GMAT scores are acceptable for some programs.
- Singapore Management University ((https://www.smu.edu.sg/) This autonomous university was officially inaugurated in 2000. It offers programs in Business and Management which are widely accepted because of the advantage Singapore has as a business location. It offers UG and PG courses. Business, Accounting, Law, and Social sciences are some of the programs offered.
