గత శీర్షికలో ఫైవ్‌ ఇయర్‌ ఇంటిగ్రేటెడ్‌ ప్రోగ్రాం ఇన్‌ మేనేజ్‌మెంట్‌ గురించి తెలుసుకున్నాం. ఐఐఎం ఇండోర్‌తో పాటు ఇంకొన్ని ఐఐఎంలు ఈ కోర్సును ప్రవేశ పెట్టాయి. వాటి గురించి తెలుసుకుందాం. అంతేకాకుండా కొన్నేండ్లుగా బీబీఏ కోర్సుల్లో అడ్మిషన్ల కోసం విద్యార్థులు ఆసక్తి చూపిస్తున్నారు. మేనేజ్‌మెంట్‌ కోర్సుల్లో ప్రవేశం పొందాలంటే రిటన్‌ టెస్ట్‌, పర్సనల్‌ ఇంటర్వ్యూ, రైటింగ్‌ ఎబిలిటీ టెస్ట్‌, మైక్రో ప్రజంటేషన్స్‌ వంటి వాటికి కూడా కాలేజీ అడ్మిషన్‌ ప్రాసెస్‌ను బట్టి అటెండ్‌ అవ్వాలి. కొన్ని అప్లికేషన్‌ సైకిల్స్‌ ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. ఇంకొన్ని వారాల్లో ఇతర నోటిఫికేషన్స్‌ కూడా వెలువడనున్నాయి. ఐఐఎం ఇండోర్‌తో పాటు ఐపీఎం ప్రోగ్రాంను ఐఐఎం రోహతక్‌, ఐఐఎం రాంచి, ఐఐఎం బోధ్‌గయా, ఐఐఎం జమ్ము 2022లో అడ్మిషన్స్‌ తీసుకున్నాయి.ఐఐఎం రాంచి అడ్మిషన్స్‌ కోసం ఐఐఎం ఇండోర్‌ నిర్వహించే ఐపీఎం మ్యాట్‌ పరీక్ష రాయాలి. 2023లో మరికొన్ని ఐఐఎంలు కూడా ఐపీఎం అడ్మిషన్స్‌ తీసుకుంటాయని ఆశిద్దాం..
IPM @ IIM Rohtak
l Rohtak is a city in Haryana, around 70 Kilometres from Delhi. The IIM Rohtak introduced the IPM program in the year 2019. It is the second IIM to start the five-year integrated program. It’s a BBA+MBA program. If a student is not able to maintain the required CGPA in 3 years, or exits after 3 years he will be awarded the BBA degree. Others can be promoted to complete the master’s program. The program aims at shaping future leaders and managers. During the initial years, the curriculum mainly focuses on Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, and Humanities. Apart from these, other courses such as Business Communication, Management Information Systems, Business, and Foreign Languages are also offered. The last 2 years will be similar to the PG-level program of PGP.
The entrance test has Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability. Each of 40 questions and for a duration of 40 minutes. Each question carries 4 marks and one negative mark. In the year 2022, the sectional cut-off was not there. Students have to improve their proficiency in all sections. Students who are short-listed in the test will be called for the Personal Interview round. Aptitude tests, Personal Interview, and Past academics (10th and 12th) have a specific weightage in the final selections. In the PI rounds, candidates will be evaluated based on their academics, general awareness, and communication skills. Online interviews were conducted during the Pandemic.
The notification is expected to be released mostly by February end, which may have more latest updates about the 2023 process. Students who are aspiring for IIMs have to remember that overall academic performance may have a direct or indirect impact on their final selections. The total program fee is around 34 lakhs. Annual mess charges, study material, and other expenses are separate.
Though there was a delay in the exam date due to the Pandemic previously, we hope it will happen in the month of May 2023.

IPM @ IIM Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya the name reminds us of Gautum Budhha. It is a pilgrim center associated with the Mahabodhi Temple Complex in Bihar. It is at a distance of more than 100 km from the capital city of Patna.
IIM Bodhgaya started the IPM program in the academic year of 2021. Students on completing the course requirement of an integrated program in management would be awarded Bachelor of Business Management and Master of Business Administration. The IPM program is intended to make students have a global perspective toward management practice. Candidates opting for exit after completing the requirement of the first three years would be awarded a Bachelor of Business Management. In the year 2022, it had 60 seats.
Admissions for IIM Bodhgaya are conducted through the JIPMAT entrance test. IPM Bodhgaya the merit list was prepared based on the JIPMAT score. In case of tie, the following order was considered in 2022: Overall JIPMAT score (higher score will be ranked higher), VARC section score (higher score will be ranked higher), QA section score (higher score will be ranked higher), DILR section score (higher score will be ranked higher), Class X score (higher score will be ranked higher), Class XII score (higher score will be ranked higher), Appearance in Class XII (recent appearance will be ranked higher), Appearance in Class X (recent appearance will be ranked higher), Date of Birth (younger candidate will be ranked higher). This will help students understand that all sections are important to boost the overall sections, and VARC plays the most important role in case of a tie.

IPM @ IIM Jammu
The Five Year Full-time Residential Integrated Program is strategically designed with a blend of science, social science, and management courses. In the year 2022, it had a batch size of 60. But for 2023, there is a proposition to make it 120. The admission process is through JIPMAT. The merit list is based 95% on the Jipmat score and 5% on gender diversity. The IPM Program is structured for five years. After the successful completion of the first three years, the student will be awarded with a BBA degree. Additionally, after fulfilling the admission requirement for the postgraduate Program the student is admitted to the MBA Program. The course fee and other aspects would cost around 6 lakhs during the first three years and then according to the MBA program.

JIPMAT
NTA (National Testing Agency) conducts the JIPMAT exam. IIM Bodhgaya and IIM Jammu consider JIPMAT for its admissions. The difficulty level of JIPMAT is expected to be lower than CAT. There isn’t a sectional timing but there is a possibility of sectional cutoff.
The JIPMAT pattern includes 3 sections. 33 questions from Quantitative Aptitude and 33 questions from Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning , and 34 questions from Verbal Ability and Reading comprehension. It is an online exam with 100 questions. Each question carries 4 marks, with a negative marking of 1 mark. It was a 2 hour and 30 minute online exam in 2022.
In Quantitative Aptitude questions will be asked to test the understanding and application of various concepts up to class 10th class Mathematics. In Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning Data Interpretation – Questions will be asked to test the ability to interpret from the given dataset. Logical Reasoning – Questions will be asked to test the reasoning ability. In Verbal Ability – Questions will be asked to test the basic understanding of English language; Reading Comprehension – Questions will be asked to test the ability to comprehend, interpret and infer from the given passage.

How to prepare for IPMAT Rohtak & JIPMAT ?
Verbal ability section includes different types of questions related to Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence completion etc. Reading comprehension is another major aspect. Students have to improve their reading skills to do well in comprehension, as it is highly possible to score in it if you work on your skill. Vocabulary needs to be memorised, Grammar rules have to be practised. Any other question types like Parajumbles etc can be practised too.
Quantitative aptitude section, though it is said to be of 10th level, the concepts need to be mastered. Great practice is required in the standard chapters of Algebra, Arithmetic and Geometry.
Logical reasoning section tests reasoning skills. Critical thinking and analytical skills are essential. Statement based, Paragraph based reasoning questions, puzzles, blood relations, coding decoding, sequences, directions etc have to be Practised. Analytical reasoning needs practice, while critical reasoning needs development of thinking ability.
Data Interpretation needs fundamental concepts of Percentages, Ratios etc as learnt in Quant. The data sets need to be carefully read and solved. Picking the right sets and solving is important.
Students who are aspiring to take these exams for admissions into the 2023-24 academic year can start preparing for it. Once notifications come further fine tuning of learning can happen through mocks and other aspects as required.
